It’s no lightweight, but Mercedes did trim excess pounds through the use of carbon-ceramic brakes, light-alloy AMG wheels, and a front end and entire body skin crafted out of aluminum.
Pricing has not been announced, though we expect it to fall around $150-grand, or about the same as the price of the outgoing CL63 AMG Coupe.
The AMG twin-turbo 5.5-liter V-8 engine produces 577-horsepower and 664 lb.-ft. of torque.
